On October 21, the CIIT College of Arts and Technology hosted the inaugural Inabel Awards at The Pergola in Pasay City. The event, themed "Weaving Filipino Creatives Together," celebrated the talents of CIIT's students and recognized the collaborative partnerships forged with various organizations.

On behalf of VCS, Managing Partners Amrei Dizon and TJ Joson attended the occasion. They accepted a certificate honoring the agency as one of CIIT's distinguished industry partners, contributing to the cultivation of highly competitive professionals.

Fostering talent, Sparking inspiration

The partnership with CIIT has been a source of great pride for VCS. Over the years, the company has welcomed and mentored numerous interns from CIIT, placing them in various departments within the agency.

Multimedia Specialist Nico Nunag, who has prior experience supervising CIIT interns, commended the students’ growth potential and adaptability. He mentioned that the interns adapted easily to VCS' work environment and culture.

“We've been consistently impressed by their swift and seamless integration into our daily workflows,” said Nico. He added, “They made meaningful contributions, from smaller tasks to major client projects, applying their evolving knowledge with each step.”

Multimedia Production Supervisor Albert Dela Cruz shared that CIIT interns not only contributed to internal projects. The students also participated in campaigns for major clients, even though they were not originally assigned tasks for those projects.

“They have effectively applied their advanced learning to video editing during their tenure at VCS. Kayang kaya makipagsabayan,” said Albert.

An enduring partnership

The solid VCS-CIIT partnership, established in 2015, owes its continuity to CIIT's impressive execution of its internship program. CIIT goes the extra mile in assisting their students throughout the entire onboarding process until the culmination of their internship. CIIT always ensures their interns’ successful integration and growth within VCS.

Managing Partner and HR Head TJ Joson noted that CIIT imparts the skills necessary for their students to excel as creative professionals–a commitment that VCS wholeheartedly embraces and supports.

“We are together in the goal to create the best Filipino creatives, and for that reason we have maintained our partnership with CIIT, which we hope to nurture in the years to come,” she shared.

VCS is extremely proud of the accomplishments achieved by these talented students. They always bring with them a skillset honed through their dedication and guidance from their mentors, and they remain open to diverse opportunities within the industry.

The entire VCS team extends heartfelt congratulations to all the deserving awardees and wishes for their continued success. We remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting all of CIIT's initiatives and look forward to the Inabel Awards in the coming years.
