Beyond 20 was just the start—here’s to our journey toward 30 years!

Every great journey starts with a moment of reflection and a clear vision for the road ahead. On February 3, 2025, Team VCS came together at The B Hotel Quezon City to do just that. We took a deep dive into our 2024 successes and challenges, recharged our creative energy, and mapped out an ambitious strategy for the year ahead—one powered by AI integration, strategic innovation, and seamless collaboration. 

As we embrace the future, we advance as an AI-first marketing agency in the Philippines, leveraging technology to enhance creativity and drive meaningful impact.

 

Stepping into the Future with AI

We began with an interactive icebreaker that had everyone thinking ahead—building our own AI teammates! This fun and engaging exercise set the tone for a day focused on the synergy between creativity and technology. We explored AI not as a replacement, but as a powerful extension of our creative and strategic capabilities, shaping the way we innovate.

Our Chief Creative Officer, Amrei Dizon, then unveiled our Vision 2030, powered by the C.R.E.A.T.E framework. She shared how this structured yet dynamic approach will guide VCS in AI integration while staying true to our core values of strategic creativity, inclusivity, and impact-driven work.

This bold direction cements our commitment to blending strategic creativity with AI-driven innovation, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry. But more than just keeping up, we aim to lead—setting a standard for how AI can be ethically and meaningfully integrated into creative processes.

Reflecting on 2024: Wins, Challenges, and Lessons Learned

The morning session was an opportunity for the team to reflect on the past year. Each department shared their experiences, offering insights into key milestones, challenges, and lessons learned.

We took stock of our milestone achievements, which pushed the boundaries of creativity, innovation, and client satisfaction. These accomplishments set a new level of expectation, raising the bar both for our team.

We then examined the key lessons learned. These lessons have shaped our strategies and will continue to guide our decision-making as we move into the future, ensuring we stay agile and forward-thinking.

Finally, we reflected on the lessons learned throughout the year. These takeaways will guide our approach in 2025 and beyond, shaping the way we continue to evolve as a team.

 

Mapping Out 2025: AI, Strategy, and Process Evolution

After a quick lunch break to recharge, we transitioned into the next phase of the day—looking ahead to 2025. Departments took turns presenting their AI-powered strategies and plans for AI integration into workflows, each focusing on key areas that will propel Team VCS forward as an AI-first agency in the coming year.

1. Refining Workflows for Efficiency and Innovation

A key focus area was optimizing workflows to maximize efficiency. Several departments shared how they plan to leverage AI-driven automation to streamline processes, minimize bottlenecks, and enhance overall operational agility.

2. Leveraging AI to Amplify Creativity and Execution

We also explored how we will continue to leverage AI tools to enhance both creativity and execution. The goal is to use AI as an extension of our creative capabilities, allowing us to push boundaries while maintaining the highest standards. AI is not replacing the creative process but rather amplifying it, enabling us to bring fresh ideas to life with greater speed and precision.

3. Enhancing Collaboration for Greater Impact

Improved collaboration was a central theme in the presentations. Teams outlined how they plan to enhance cross-departmental coordination and work more closely with clients to achieve impactful results. The focus is on creating a seamless flow of communication, ensuring that everyone, from internal teams to external stakeholders, is aligned on the shared goals and vision for 2025.

As the day wrapped up, we moved into a breakout session, giving each team a chance to voice their ideas and contribute to the broader conversation. This session encouraged a collaborative approach to shaping our 2025 strategy, ensuring that every individual’s perspective was considered as we refine and implement our goals for the upcoming year.
