Bridging the Gap: Financial Literacy for Women and PWDS with Amrei Dizon and Pasig PDAO
On April 25, VCS’ Chief Creative Officer Amrei Dizon conducted a Financial Literacy talk for women and PWDs in partnership with Pasig PDAO.
In a dedicated effort to promote PWD inclusion and capacity building for MSMEs, our Chief Creative Officer, Amrei Dizon, partnered with Pasig Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO) and its Gender and Development Department to conduct a transformative Financial Literacy talk on April 25, 2023. The project, spearheaded by Ms. Helen Carmona and Diwata Reyes, brought together women who are either PWDs or have children who are PWDs.
The seminar provided invaluable financial literacy lessons, empowering participants with the knowledge and tools they need to better manage their finances. The talk covered essential topics such as money management, managing household income, budgeting with practical exercises, time management, and income opportunities for improved livelihood.

As her talk concluded, CCO Dizon was honored with a certificate signed by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, a testament to the significance of her insights. Her heart is full of gratitude for the chance to impart her knowledge to these women, who truly deserve nothing but the best.
By empowering women, especially those who are PWDs or have PWD children, with financial literacy skills, we aim to help them create a brighter future for themselves and their families. This initiative aligns with our advocacy for capacity building among MSMEs and the inclusion of PWDs in all aspects of life, ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of financial stability and independence.
