The Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) is a regional organization of liberal political parties in Asia. With 9 member parties including Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and the Philippines, CALD aims to assess the possibilities for liberal solutions to problems facing Asian democracies.

In 2019, CALD launched their campaign and blueprint for Smart Cities, to engage more individuals and organizations across Asia to envision the future and potential of Asian cities. #TeamVCS created a dynamic and tone-appropriate motion graphics video to complement CALD's vision of responsive and democratic cities, where citizens enjoy participatory government and experience better quality of life. With CALD's script as backbone for the project, VCS crafted storyboards and the final video which communicates the advantages and prospects of having better designed, smart cities across Asia.
