Sun Life Philippines wanted to broaden its target market by engaging with younger audiences and bridging the gap between young people and Sun Life's insurance and investment products.

To attract young Filipinos and provide them with valuable financial skills and knowledge, TeamVCS and Sun Life collaborated on a series of financial literacy webinars. Entitled "Real World, Real Talk: Your guide to Adulting," the webinar series tackled young people's financial and career concerns as they navigate their journey to adulthood.

 
 
 

VCS helped Sun Life design the strategy and communications, as well as the mounting of this online event. The team helped identify three major market segments among today's Filipino youth: freelancers, corporate employees, and a general audience that is still deciding what they want to do with the prime productive years of their lives.

 
 
 

Each market segment had a dedicated webinar session focused on their specific career and financial needs and interests. VCS and Sun Life collaborated with a diverse set of experienced topic experts who shared their tips and knowledge with the young audience.

At the end of every webinar event, TeamVCS also created follow-up supplementary materials in the form of bite-sized infographic videos that highlighted key information shared by our topic experts. These short-form content videos were perfect for sharing on social media so that even people who were not able to catch the online event live could still benefit from the practical advice offered by Sun Life and its speakers.
