For the International Day of Nurses last May 12, VCS created a series of videos for Public Services International—a global trade union federation representing workers who deliver vital public services in 163 countries. These videos revolve around the theme of "Safe Workers Save Lives," with nurses from different countries expressing their thoughts on their work and the public healthcare situation during the Covid pandemic.

Through these videos for PSI, #TeamVCS hopes that it was able to contribute in relaying and amplifying the voices of nurses all over the world, and provide support to PSI and their cause. We need to protect the health of our healthcare workers, because only when they are safe can they continue saving our lives.
