Project: Mindfulness for Compassion and Wellbeing (MCW Conference) OBB

FriendlyCare Foundation Inc., a private-sector family planning organization run by top Filipino health and business leaders, launched the Mindfulness for Compassion and Wellbeing Conference. This two-day online conference gather experts from the fields of education and mental health to discuss mindfulness in Filipino values, consciousness, and education. This event also served as a soft launch for their Mindfulness at FriendlyCare program. 

FriendlyCare collaborated with VCS to raise audience awareness for the said event and encourage people to sign up and participate. The team produced social media collaterals and an OBB video to promote and set the tone for their target audience. TeamVCS also managed the Mindfulness for Compassion event and served technical support.

The OBB that VCS produced presented a relatable a narrative by showcasing the mental struggles of today's Filipino teenagers, such as pressures from family and having high expectations for the future. The video presented an understanding and welcoming tone, engaging audiences by saying that these problems are valid.

The OBB also explained how mindfulness can help in managing and addressing one’s mental health. Through engaging storytelling and dynamic animation, the video effectively conveyed the shared experiences of students and presented the necessity of creating a mindfulness program in schools.
